Thank you!

Thank you to all the voters who have placed their trust in me and elected me to the Board of Education on Tuesday, May 20. I will work hard to do all I can to rally this team to work in the best interest of the student body. I am confident we can work with the teachers, unions and administration to bring together this modified board team in a spirit of positive cooperativeness.

Congratulations to Mr. John Beaver my fellow new board member and to Joe Meyer on his reelection. I hear nothing but great things about these individuals. I also think it is great that we had 5 others that were willing to serve our customers, i.e. the students! Keep in mind we the board members, teachers and administrators are all united for one purpose - to service our customers who are the students and the taxpayers who fund our student’s education. I believe the board will find me to be a cooperative, caring and non-confrontational person from the field of business. I understand the value of cooperation, mutual respect and fairness. I will stand behind the decisions of this group and I am sure we will follow the education laws and act in the best interests of the students. I will do all I can to make this community proud of this board and administration. I also thank Mr. Norbert Fuest for his eighteen years of dedicated board service and all the kind words of encouragement he bestowed upon me. Norbert is a wonderful man and a true asset to our community.
